Who Are TicketSource?

Credit & Debit card online sales and bank processing  is secure and highly regulated.  Your purchase is safe and secure and your bank card details are not held by CDS.

Discretionary Refunds

  • When a ticket cannot be used CDS will in some circumstances will cancel and refund a ticket purchase before the show.
    • This is on a case by case basis and is at the discretion of CDS.
  • If CDS makes a discretionary refund of an online ticket purchase then that refund will not include any online booking fees, whether paid by the customer or by CDS.
    • CDS does not keep these – they are the cost of using the TicketSource service.
  • Online play sales refunds are therefore subject to deduction of the TicketSource booking fees paid by CDS (currently 7% for most plays) but up to 10% in some circumstances.
  • Where booking fees have been paid direct by the customer they are not refundable for discretionary refunds.
  • In either case, exchanges of tickets (where possible) do not incur any extra costs where the total cost is identical.
  • Your statutory rights are not affected.
