The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Sussex’s Christmas concert this year is an Olde Tyme Music Hall. Come in period costume if you wish!
The Chairman is BBC actor John Samson, and the performers include three of the Racing Demon actors Alan Carter (Streaky), Laurence Leng (Lionel) and Bill Colbourne (Bishop of Kingston).
The event takes place at the Birch Hotel in Haywards Heath on Sunday 7th December, starting at 2.45pm.
Admission is £4.50 for members and £9.50 for non-members, both prices include interval refreshments.
The G&SSofS ask that you book in advance by sending your cheque (made payable to G & S Today) to Edwin Cowley at 37 Hill House Close, Turners Hill, Crawley RH10 4YY. No need for SAE – just arrive in good time and collect your tickets at the door.
Ring Edwin on 01342 715709 in the event of a query.
And if you wish to take lunch beforehand, you can book with The Birch on 01444 451565, mentioning that you are going to the G & S Society concert.
While waiting for the February Frolics (back in the Queens Hall) you may like to know about these other shows from other theatre groups coming soon to the Mid-Sussex area.
